Sources Women’s Place provides a variety of free resources, programs, and supports that aim to improve the lives of women and their families. Offering a safe and confidential environment where women can connect with one another as well as access free resources such as counselling, legal information, professional referrals, resources, facilitated support groups, and educational opportunities.

Services include:
- Referrals and Resources: Call for information on Sources or local programs, community resources or crisis referrals. Drop in to browse through our community resources for information on a wide variety of topics of interest and concerns for women.
- Hot Lunch: Offers nutritious and tasty hot lunch, Tuesday – Friday from Noon – 1:30 PM, for women and their children.
- Clothing Exchange: Provides quality women’s clothing (casual and business attire) along with children’s and infant outfits. Shoes, bags and hats are also available. Open Tuesday – Thursday from 10:30 AM – 2:30 PM
- Laundry Services (Appointment Only): A laundry room with front-loading washer and dryer is available to our clients. Wheelchair-accessible.
- Shower (Appointment Only): Provides a clean, private shower for the use of clients, with towels and toiletries supplied. The shower is also wheelchair-accessible.
- Peer Crisis Support: Provides crisis and peer support, available by telephone or drop-in from Tuesday – Friday from 10:30 AM - 2:30 PM.
- Health and Wellbeing Groups: The Lesbian Connection group provides safe social interaction, discussion, support and/or workshop presentations. Gives a safe place for lesbians to meet others in the community.
- Online Trauma Counselling Sessions: Join an 8-week online coping skills workshop for those who have experienced trauma, sexual assault, and/or relationship abuse. Open to those who identify as women, and includes tools that will help you cope with everyday stressful situations, use self-care strategies and more!
