Sources Counselling Services

Sources Counselling Services is a fee-for-service program, with subsidy provided through Sources Foundation and donations. Sources is also a parnter with the WRSS Primary Care network and provides some funded sessions through the network.
The Sources counselling services team offers a wide variety of backgrounds, training, and life experiences for those living in the South Surrey/White Rock/Cloverdale areas. The intake coordinator has a series of questions for the patient who is them matched with the most appropriate counsellor. All counsellors are registered clinical counsellors with a master’s degree. Each counsellor is registered in professional regulatory bodies such as the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors.

Sources offers individual, couples, family and group counselling for:
  • Parenting
  • Relationships
  • Separation or divorce
  • Workplace issues
  • Substance abuse
  • Anger management
  • Historical trauma
  • Grief and loss
  • Depression
  • Stress and anxiety
  • Lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgendered issues
  • Family concerns
  • Play therapy for children
  • DiscoverY (ages 13 - 25 years old in Parksville and WR/SS)
Primary Care Network Partnership
The White Rock/South Surrey Primary Care Network offers people living in these communities access to comprehensive, team-based health care for their day-to-day primary care needs. Health providers include family physicians, registered nurses, and allied health professionals such as social workers, patient educators, pharmacists, and registered clinical counsellors through SOURCES. SOURCES is a partner of the WRSS Primary Care Network, with a team of twenty counsellors utilizing a diversity of backgrounds and skills. If your family doctor is a part of the White Rock/South Surrey Primary Care Network, you may be referred to Sources Counselling to receive up to eight (8) funded sessions. Ask your family doctor to see if you’re eligible!

Hours of Operation for intake are 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM, by appointment. Counselling appointments can be scheduled into the evenings and on weekends.
